Blue whales (the world’s largest animals), Humpback whales, Gray whales as well as Minke whales and Fin whales are not uncommon. There’s even an occasional Sperm whale. Orcas (Killer whales) and more than a half dozen other types of dolphin either live off the coast of California or come to visit at various times throughout the year!
